  • Finding A Sense Of Contentment (online)

    Teacher: Elizabeth Gaywood
Cost: Donation to support the BRC during the COVID-19 lockdown
    Dates: 07:00pm - 08:30pm

elizabeth gaywoodFinding a sense of contentment with who we are and how we can live a purposeful life quite often eludes us. Happiness and satisfaction should be part of our daily life but we find ourselves constantly looking for methods  and means whereby we can find some peace of mind. Meditation techniques have proved to be particularly helpful to balance emotions and to find a new and more meaningful approach to living, especially with kindness to ourselves and others. We will explore various techniques to assist with this process. Experiencing these methods will enable the retreatant to incorporate them into their daily-life activity, whilst at the same time creating space to allow the mind to settle and to become more peaceful and focused. Beginners are welcome to attend as we will touch on the basics that are necessary for a well-grounded practice. In-between the sessions participants will be able to practice on their own and come back to the second session with any queries for clarification.

    Dates: 15 & 18 June | Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm
